Fried Chinese Dumplings(Jiaozi)

Dumplings are the traditional food in China with long history, and usually the first choice for Chinese people to entertain guests,to celebrate festivals and big days is making dumplings. For its various making methods with great flavors, many people love them so much. Now, let’s make the delicious dumplings!

                  ☆Yield: about 70 dumplings

Ingredients

dumpling wrapper1 (16 ounce) package
dumpling wrappers
pork meat
1 lb ground
pork

       
                          
chinese cabbage
  ▷2 cups
Chinese cabbage
          
onion dices

1/4 cup
onion



seasoning materials
salt oil sugar
    ▷minced shallot, ginger, dry red pepper, caraway, 1 teaspoon for each
   
1 tablespoon soy sauce
   
1 teaspoon salt
   
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
   
2 teaspoons sesame seed oil  
   
3 tablespoons chicken soup base
   
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Directions

☞Finely dice cabbage and onion.  
☞Mix all the ingredients together.

☞Fill and fold wrappers. Pinch sides to ensure they won't break open during cooking.
☞Put enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan, lay dumplings in it until the bottom of
jiaozi turns golden yellow.
☞Add one tablespoon of water and cover the pan quickly to make them cooked by the steam.
☞Turn the stove to medium when they are cooked 2-3 minutes.
